INMO head calls for more community based treatment options

The INMO says the number of admitted patients awaiting beds in hospitals has reached highest point since the pandemic.

The nursing union says more than 9,600 people were on trolleys or other inappropriate settings while waiting for beds in June.

The Letterkenny University Hospital figure was 554, a 46.5% increase compared to June 2025.
