Loughs Agency is continuing its crackdown on illegal fishing, just a week after issuing a warning about Atlantic salmon.
An illegal net was seized across the Backwater on the River Foyle in recent days, in which four salmon were killed.
The agency says advanced surveillance technology played a crucial role in the operation, with drones equipped with thermal imaging helping Fishery Officers detect an active poaching crew and locate the illegal net despite challenging conditions.
Meanwhile, another illegal net was detected across the River Derg in Ardstraw, although no fish were found.
Loughs Agency is urging anyone who becomes aware of illegal fishing activity to report it using the Water Watch App.
