Jordan Boyce suffered defeat in today’s World Darts Youth Final but the 16 year old is already marking a return to the Lakeside venue next year.
The Newtowncunningham teenager led 2 sets to 1 in the decider but his challenger Joshua Richardson hit his best form in the latter part of the match to win 3-2.
It’s been an exceptional journey for Boyce who came through the qualifiers in October to take his place on the Lakeside stage and then come so close to tking the title.
Speaking with Oisin Kelly after the match, Jordan was disappointed but wants to return to the final and give it another shot next year…
