Inishowen men had a fantastic at the weekend in Holland at the World Indoor Tug of War Championships.
Liam Strain (Burnfoot), Adrian Lynch (Buncrana), Paul Duffy (Buncrana) and Manus Doherty (Clonmany) were members of winning St. Pats Tug of War Team, based in Co. Louth and all four also represented Ireland pulling to even more medals.

560kg category – WORLD SILVER – Manus Doherty and Paul Duffy
600kg category – WORLD GOLD – Liam Strain and Paul Duffy
640kg category – WORLD GOLD – Liam Strain and Adrian Lynch
680kg category – WORLD GOLD – Adrian Lynch and Liam Strain
Saturday & Sunday (World Championships – the 4 were representing Ireland)
560kg category – WORLD GOLD – Liam Strain, Adrian Lynch and Manus Doherty
640kg category – WORLD BRONZE – Adrian Lynch
680kg category – WORLD BRONZE – Adrian Lynch and Paul Duffy
2 other men from Inishowen also represented Ireland in the 600kg category, alongside Liam Strain. Cathal McLaughlin and Anthony Doherty from Carndonagh Tug of War team helped them to 4th in the category.
