Oscar Traynor Cup semi-final result: Inishowen 0 – 2 Leinster Senior League
Inishowen League manager Diarmaid O’Brien praised his players after they cruelly lost 0-2 in the Oscar Traynor Cup semi-final by conceding two goals in the dying minutes.
The home side had a player sent off in the 13th minute, a development which Diarmaid said left them up against it.
He told Sunday Sport that his players deserve great credit because the Leinster Senior League did not open them up until the death.
He said Inishowen also had their chances but were unlucky when they conceded their first goal because it happened when they were down to nine men as an injured player was off the field for treatment.
