Oisin Gallen scored 1-06 of Donegal’s 1-11 as they ran out eight point victors over Armagh in the Ulster minor shield final.
It was a slow start from Donegal, who struggled to compete with the physical nature of Armagh – but, a penalty from Gallen gave them a comfortable lead at the break.
In the second half, Armagh were once again the better side, but poor wides’ were punished by Donegal who were clinical in their shooting.

After the game, Donegal minor boss Shaun Paul Barrett said he was disappointed with his side’s performance despite the win.
