Update – 22 year old man seriously injured in Inishowen crash

A man in his 20s has been seriously injured in a crash in Inishowen.
The crash happened at ten past three this morning at Tieveban, Burnfood, five miles from Buncrana.
A four by four vehicle hit a stone wall, seriously injuring the sole occupant, a 22 year old man. he’s been rushed to Letterkenny University Hospital.
Gardai say traffic is being diverted via Backhill Rd and Tieveban to Burnfoot village. Traffic heading towards Buncrana is being diverted via Watery Road onto Dispensary Road at Tooban.
HGV traffic is being diverted via Carndonagh, Quigleys Point and Muff.
Gardai are continuing their investigations, and witnesses, or anyone who was on that stretch of road between 2.50am and 3.20am this morning are asked to contact Buncrana Garda station on 074 9320540 or any garda station.
