HSE paying €197,000 a year to rent Letterkenny OPD premises

It’s emerged that the HSE is paying over €197,000 a year to rent its Out-Patient facility at Scally Place in Letterkenny.
There are 27 clinical rooms in the building, which has been used in the wake of the flooding which devastated the hospital in July 2013.
The Donegal News is reporting today that the initial rent for the first two years was €81,000 annually, but that was a reduced rate which factored in the money spent by the HSE to fit out the building.
