The Western Development Commission has a new CEO.
Tomás Ó Síocháin is a former journalist and editor with RTE, and more recently, he worked in NUI Galway as a Programme Manager.
Now, he is heading up the WDC, which advises the Government on policy for the west and north west region.
He says this is a challenging time to take up the position………..
