The Health Minister, Simon Harris, has been accused of “badly mishandling” the Cervical Check scandal by a former HSE boss.
Tony O’Brien, who stepped down as director general earlier this year, also believes Simon Harris is “obsessed” with media coverage.
In an interview with the Sunday Business Post, Mr O’Brien also admits the way the HSE handled the screening controversy was a “trainwreck”.
