The LYIT are off to Mallow in Cork for the Colleges Final’s this weekend.
The Letterkenny side will play GMIT of Galway in their semi-final of the Trench Cup on Friday afternoon hoping to contest the final the following day.
For the second year, the men’s footballers are under the management of Donegal Captain Michael Murphy.
The LYIT, who have county panelists Michael Langan, Peader Mogan and John Campbell on board won the Higher Education Senior League Division 2 title in November.
In the 2018 Trench semi- final the LYIT lost to Mary Immaculate of Limerick.
