A woman who was repeatedly raped by her father hopes that her waving her right to anonymity will encourage others to speak out.
50 year old Maurice Lafferty of Corcullen, Castlefin pleaded guilty at the Central Criminal Court to raping his then teenage daughter Annie Lafferty at his home on dates between November 1, 2010 and June 30, 2011.
The Donegal father-of-six has been jailed for eleven years.
