School-children from around the country will go on strike over climate action today.
Thousands of pupils will march in cities, towns and outside schools.
A protest is getting underway at the Market Square in Letterkenny this morning at 11am until 1pm.
Molly Mercier-Redmond, of Schools Climate Action Network, says they have six key demands for the government:
