Childcare providers from Donegal are due to attend a pre-budget meeting in Dublin next week.
Representing over 100 care-givers in the county, the body will call upon the government to increase funding in early-years care. The Donegal figure is under the national average, at just over 167 euro.
Frances Byrne, Director of Policy and Advocacy at Early Childhood Ireland says its will be an opportunity for those in attendance to highlight the challenges experienced on a day to day basis:
