The DUP says it can’t support the Brexit deal currently on the table.
Arlene Foster’s party says it has issues with the customs and consent mechanisms in the draft deal.
It dashes hopes of an agreement being put to EU leaders at a summit in Brussels today.
Late night talks put the broad brush strokes of a deal together – but it won’t pass the House of Commons without the DUP’s support.
Taoiseach Leo Varadkar travels to Brussels this morning as hopes of a deal are now fading.
