Garda Commissioner announces next phase of Garda reforms

The next phases of Garda reforms have been announced by the Garda Commissioner.
Drew Harris says the Garda Operating Model will see more front line Gardai and a stronger focus on community policing.
The changes will be phased in across the 19 Divisions, with the Donegal/Sligo/Leitrim division included in the fourth phase. It is anticipated that implementation will commence in October 2020.
