A Donegal County Councillor is calling on the Government to scrap property tax in a bid to ease pressures during the current crisis.
Cllr Micheál Choilm Mac Giolla Easbuig says so many families and individuals are facing so much uncertainty and the government could reduce some of the financial burden by scrap the property tax.
He believes there’s too much of a focus on how best to support business during these times with little attention being paid to homeowners:
