Suspension on almost all travel from Britain to be imposed

The Government will impose a suspension on almost all travel from Britain following fears over the spread of a new, faster spreading, strain of Covid-19 that UK doctors say is up to 70% more infectious.
The move was agreed by the three coalition party leaders during discussions this afternoon while an announcement will be made this evening.
Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands and now Germany and Austria say they will do the same.
