Britain’s Foreign Secretary insists that fixing the Northern Ireland Protocol is an absolute priority for her.

Liz Truss is meeting the European Commission vice-president later – aiming to resolve the deadlock over post-Brexit trading arrangements.

Northern Ireland’s first minister quit last week over the rules, which he argues are a barrier to the movement of goods from Britain.
