Donegal North East Deputy Joe Mc Hugh has told the Dail that the Irish government should do everything it can to facilitate inter-country adoption.
Speaking last evening, Deputy Mc Hugh said discussions are continuing on a possible arrangement between Ireland and the State of Florida, and he urged Children’s Minister Frances Fitzgerald to ask the Taoiseach to raise the issue in the US when he is there for St Patrick’s Day.
He told the Dail that while economic matters dominate the headlines, this is an issue which should not be ignored…….
