Police in Derry attending report of suspicious object

Police in Derry say they are currently attending a security alert in the Glen Road area of the city, after a report of a suspicious object.

A number of homes have been evacuated and members of the public are being asked to avoid the area.

Police say a further update will be provided in due course.
