A motorist has been arrested in Letterkenny after being caught drink driving at almost 2.5 times the legal limit.
Letterkenny Roads Policing Unit were on patrol when they arrested the driver on suspicion of drink driving in the early hours of this morning.
Gardai say the roads were in a treacherous condition at the time.
The motorist has been charged and is due to appear in Court in the coming weeks.
