Boost in profits for energy companies

Bord Gáis’s parent company saw profits surge to over 3.5 billion euro last year.

Energy giant Centrica reported underlying operating profits of 3.71 billion euro for 2022, up from just over 1 billion euro in 2021.

Meanwhile, Bord Gais saw its adjusted profits increase by 11% to 35 million euro.
