Cabinet Ministers will today agree to oppose a Dáil bill looking to extend the evictions ban.
The Sinn Féin legislation will be debated in the chamber this evening before a vote tomorrow.
The bill looks to extend the ban beyond this month and until early 2024.
The Government will also agree a counter-motion to the Labour confidence vote being brought in the coalition, which will be debated on Wednesday morning.
