Lough Swilly RNLI were yesterday tasked to assist in the rescue of a person at Lisfannon beach.
Volunteers were paged by the Malin Head Coast Guard just before 5:25pm yesterday evening to assist the National Ambulance Service.
The RNLI helped remove a casualty from the beach to an ambulance from where they were then taken to Letterkenny University Hospital for further treatment.
