Health Minister says he’s frustrated at delays in rolling out additional free GP cards

The Health Minister says he’s frustrated with delays in rolling out around half a million more free GP visit cards.

The measure was one of the centrepieces of the health budget but has been delayed at the request of doctors.

Being questioned in the Dáil, Health Minister Stephen Donnelly didn’t say when the 500,000 extra patients will get their cards:
