The first turbine has been installed at Lenalea Wind Farm in Donegal.
It’s expected the seven turbine development will be operational by the last quarter of this year and when complete the wind farm will generate enough renewable energy to power 20,000 homes annually.
The remaining six turbines have been pre-assembled and are scheduled to be fully installed by the end of June.
