Two school extension projects in Donegal have been cleared to proceed to the next steps in their projects.
Finn Valley College in Stranorlar has been approved to proceed to tender for an extension including special needs and general classrooms, while Scoil Fhionáin in Falcarragh has been approved to proceed to construction for a two classroom extension.

Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine and Fianna Fáil Donegal T.D., Charlie McConalogue, confirmed today that two school extension projects in Donegal have gotten approval to proceed to the next steps in their projects.
Finn Valley College, has been approved to proceed to tender for an extension including three classroom SEN base, two SET rooms and three general classrooms. Scoil Fhionáin, has been approved to proceed to construction for an extension including two classroom SEN base. Both projects are under the Additional School Accommodation Scheme.
Commenting, Minister McConalogue said “Confirmation of approval to proceed to tender for these school extensions is important for the school communities and will really help the school offering in these towns. I thank the school principals, boards, staff, parents and most importantly pupils for their commitment and work to their school communities.”
