A Donegal project has been highlighted in a special Heritage Council publication to mark 25 years since the Heritage Officer Network was founded.
‘Opening the door to Ireland’s heritage’ details one key project from each local authority over the last three years to convey the work which has been done to protect Irish Heritage.
The ‘Ballyshannon Historic Towns Initiative’ is featured. This project seen the conservation of the towns most historic buildings that needed preservation work.
