Illies Golden Gloves Boxing Club will host a special boxing tournament this Saturday, February 17th, to mark the club’s 25th anniversary.
The event will take place in the Half Way House in Burnfoot and will feature an Illies Golden Gloves line-up in action against an Ulster/Leinster Select.
Doors open at 7.30 pm with the first contest at 8.00 pm.
Illies Golden Gloves is one of the leading boxing clubs in Ulster and has produced a steady stream of champions at various levels.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, the Vale Centre in Derry is the venue for the Ulster Boy/Girl 4-7 National Qualifiers with boxing starting at 11 am.
