Donegal has officially been appointed a new Chief Superintendent.
Gorretti Sheridan takes up the role today.
The Chief Superintendent took charge of the Buncrana district in 2020 and has also served in Castlereagh County Roscommon, and Sligo.
Previous to this, she spent six years as an Inspector in Letterkenny.
