British heiress and IRA activist, Rose Dugdale dies

British heiress and IRA activist, Rose Dugdale, has died, aged 83.

The educated debutante turned her back on her upper-class lifestyle in response to Bloody Sunday, and was later jailed for nine years for her part in the Russborough art theft in 1974.

A film exploring her life is set to be released in Northern Ireland cinemas next month.
