Construction has started on 248 homes in Donegal so far this year.
According to data released today by the Housing Department, last month alone, commencement notices for 154 properties in the county were issued.
Housing Minister Darragh O’Brien says the development levy waiver and Uisce Éireann connection charge rebate, which were introduced last year, have helped to fast track greater activity and have made many more projects viable.
