A multinational investigation with Europol has taken down a criminal communication platform with operations in Ireland.
A collaboration with Gardai, along with nine other countries, has resulted in a total of 51 arrests worldwide as part of an encrypted drug trafficking network platform.
11 arrests have been made in Ireland and 15 point 6 million euro worth of drugs have been seized.
33 controlled searches have been carried out across the country.
