Police treating attack on gaming centre in Derry as a hate crime

Police are treating a weekend attack on a business premises in Derry as a hate crime.

Significant damage was caused to the Oasis Gaming Centre in The Diamond area at around 6pm on Friday after a fire extinguisher and paint bombs were thrown at it.

Police say while enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances of the incident, they are treating it as a hate crime.

Anyone who was in the area and witnessed what happened is asked to contact Police.
