Investigations continue at former home of Kyran Durnin

The search of the former family home of Kyran Durnin in Dundalk has resumed this morning.

The eight-year-old is missing and presumed dead, with gardaí believing he may have been killed up to two years ago.

A search at a house in Emer Terrace in Dundalk, were new tenants unconnected to Kyran Durnin or his disappearance, has resumed this morning.

The house, which was the Durnin family home until last May, will be the subject of technical and forensic examinations.

Excavations at the garden at the back of the house will also continue today, while land at the back of the property is also expected to be searched.

Kyran was reported missing from his home in Drogheda on the 30th of August, however the last positive sighting of the child was at the end of the school year in 2022.
