Donegal County Council is urging people to ‘Stay Bright. Stay Safe and Be Seen’ when out on the roads.
Whether out for a walk or travelling to work, the Council is advising people to wear clothing that combines fluorescent and reflective materials.
All pedestrians and cyclists are urged to wear bright clothing or carry a torch, particularly on rural roads.
Meanwhile, drivers are advised to always keep dipped headlights on, even during daylight hours.
The local authority is reminding people that increased visibility can help make the roads safer for everyone.
