The woman who tragically passed away yesterday from injuries sustained in a collision last week in Buncrana has been identified as local woman Rose Byrne of Mill Brae, Buncrana.
The incident occurred on Main Street, Buncrana, on Tuesday last. Following the crash, Ms. Byrne was transported to Letterkenny University Hospital for treatment.
She was one of two pedestrians involved.
Gardaí are continuing their investigation and are appealing to any witnesses who may have information or dashcam footage related to the incident.
Anyone who was in the vicinity of Main Street, Buncrana, between 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM on the day of the collision is urged to contact the investigating Gardaí.
