The unemployment rate was slightly up in July when compared to the previous month.
Figures from the Central Statistics Office show the seasonally adjusted rate was 4.9 per cent, up from 4.6 per cent in June.
On an annual basis, the unemployment rate increased from 4.5 per cent last July.
