Rural Ireland continues to suffer from a lack of available taxis, according to Freenow.
Representatives from the taxi app are due to appear before the Oireachtas Transport Committee today to speak about issues facing the taxi industry.
Uber, Bolt and the All Ireland Taxi Association will also be in attendance.
