11 Gardaí have been assigned to the North Western Region as part of a wider intake of 167.
This morning these Gardaí were attested as sworn in which takes the total number of sworn Gardaí to over 14,500.
These newly-attested members of An Garda Síochána were recruited as part of the 2024/25 recruitment campaign.
This brings the number of Probationar Gardaí attested since recruitment recommenced in 2022 to nearly 1,800.
