Arranmore Island is now more accessible, thanks to a new all-terrain beach wheelchair funded by the FLAG North Programme.
The chair will let people with mobility challenges enjoy the island’s sandy beaches, walking trails, and stunning coastal scenery for the first time.
The €20,000 project, led by the local community co-op, also funded equipment to maintain public green spaces, enhancing life for residents and visitors alike.
