Police respond to property attacks on Bishop Street, Derry

Police in Derry responded to reports of anti-social behaviour near Bishop Street, opposite Nailors Row, last night.

Around 8.45pm, a large group of young people were reported throwing stones and bottles at properties.

Officers attended and engaged with those present to calm the situation.

A man was arrested and later released to report to the Public Prosecution Service.

The crowd dispersed by 10pm, and police continue to monitor the area while investigations continue.
