Man accused of killing 15 in Sydney’s Bondi Beach terror attack appears in court

A man accused of killing 15 people in a terror attack on Sydney’s Bondi Beach has appeared in court for the first time.

Dozens of others were injured during a Hannukah celebration, while many Irish people, including Donegal natives, fled the beach when gunfire started.

24-year-old Naveed Akram appeared via video link, and will face another hearing in April.

His father was shot dead by police at the scene in December.
