UK Covid-19 inquiry’s final module hailed as “huge moment” by bereaved families

The opening of the final module of the UK Covid-19 inquiry has been described by bereaved families as a “huge moment”.

Hearings over the next three weeks will consider the effect of lockdowns on domestic abuse victims and the homeless, as well as restrictions on funerals.

The campaign group Covid-19 Bereaved Families for Justice UK says Module 10 matters “because it centres the human impact”.

Ireland’s covid inquiry is due to submit a final report by the end of the year.
