The Tánaiste expects Government measures to help with fuel prices to come into effect as soon as next week.
Cabinet will discuss a range of steps to be taken to address affordability concerns surrounding energy and fuel at a meeting on Tuesday.
Simon Harris says a number of those steps, particularly at the pumps, can be passed through the Dáil immediately following agreement.
