A Garda is one of two people due before court today, charged in connection with an investigation into organised crime.
The guard, who is in his forties and has been suspended from duty, was arrested along with a man in his sixties.
They’re due to appear before the Criminal Courts of Justice this morning.
The Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation has been carrying out an investigation into alleged Organised Crime activity since 2021.
