A man in his 30s has been arrested in relation to a fatal assault in Galway.
A 65-year-old woman has died in hospital following the incident at a home in Ballybrit at around 11.45 on Friday night.
The man, who’s being questioned at a Garda station in the northwest, can be held for up to 24 hours.
