Derry senior football manager Ciaran Meenagh readily acknowledged that Meath were the better team in their All-Ireland SFC Round 2B game at Celtic Park.
The Royal County won by 1-24 to 1-20.
Meenagh gave his thoughts after the defeat to Michael McMullan.
