Doherty raises the closure of Annagry Post Office in the Dáil

The planned closure of Annagry Post Office has been raised in the Dáil.

Speaking to the Minister with responsibility for postal services, Charlie McConalogue, Deputy Pearse Doherty urged the Government to intervene, saying the post office is a vital service for the local community and economy.

Deputy Doherty also highlighted the closure of other post offices in Gaeltacht areas, warning of the growing impact on rural communities.
